Michael Meissner - General Manager
Michael MeissnerMick Meissner has been a part of the MPE team for nine years and was appointed a Director and General Manager of the Company in 2004.
Mick has been associated with the mining industry for 30 years having held senior maintenance management positions in both Open Cut and Underground operations.
With a Masters In Business Technology and and Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering his field of expertise is work management with specific experience in facilitating cultural change, computerised maintenance management system configuration and utilisation, maintenance strategy development, performance analysis and defect elimination.
Mick is a Member of the Asset Management Council and Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Australia.

Peter Banks - Business Development Manager
Peter BanksWith 30 years plus of mining maintenance and project experience in hard rock and coal mining throughout Australia, Peter Banks joined MPE four years ago.
Peter's expertise includes all areas of mine maintenance including planning, management and improvement strategies, reliability centred maintenance, equipment performance analysis, project and contract management.
In his current role Peter is responsible for all areas of business development including marketing, promotion and MPE's acceptance into the Federal Government's Austrade Program.

Garry McCarthy - Operations Manager, New South Wales
Garry McCarthyGarry McCarthy has been a part of the MPE team for seven years. His current role sees him directly managing the Singleton workforce and providing management support to the MPE group.
With an electrical trade background Garry was employed in the open cut coal industry for 19 years in supervisory and management roles, with 15 of those years in dual electrical/mechanical supervisory/management positions.

Ron Shuttlewood - Operations Manager, Queensland
Ron ShuttlewoodRon Shuttlewood joined MPE seven years ago and was initially based in the Singleton office. With engineering qualifications Ron’s area of expertise is project management, equipment audits, design and drafting, maintenance systems and management support.
In 2002 Ron was involved in the establishment of MPE’s Queensland operations. Following this he spent one year working in the United Kingdom on the implementation of a MIMS Computer Maintenance Management System for the United Kingdom Passenger Rail Network.
On his return to Australia Ron was based in the Queensland office and was appointed to his current role in early 2007.
Ron is a Member of The Institute of Engineers Australia.
