Guideline for Mobile and Transportable Equipment for Use in Mines - MDG 15
MDG 15 has been developed by the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries to assist Manufacturers (OEM's), Purchasers, Owners, Operators, Site Contractors and NSW Dept of Mineral Resources Mining Inspectorate to assist in assessing the safety of mobile and transportable equipment at mines (surface and underground) and production processing plants.
Maintenance and Project Engineering engineering staff are available to perform equipment assessments and inspections that allow manufacturers (OEM's) and designers comply with the recommendations in the guideline.The MPE MDG 15 inspection and assessment can help manufacturers remove hazards during the equipment build phase before it is delivered to site.
